Hi, my name is Lori. I snapped all the photos on this site, but you won’t find me in them.
Most people move to LA to be seen, but I’m here to be heard. Heroes & Villians Entertainment gets my voice out there.
I’m a perpetual outsider, spotlight avoider, and out-of-the-box thinker.
I want to make groundbreaking film and television. I WRITE, DIRECT and PRODUCE—commercials, branded entertainment, half-hour, hour long, and feature-film.
I love learning. Call me intellectual, but not boring.
It might be genetic, or it might be twelve years of art school. First, magnet high school, a BFA, followed by an MFA. I teach Directing at UCLA, Screenwriting at NYFA LA and The Los Angeles Film School. I live to encourage and lift up other diverse creatives. I get involved in my community—I’m on multiple Writer’s Guild and Producer’s Guild committees and I volunteer with Young Storytellers mentoring 5th graders.
I’m a non-threatening triple-threat.
Currently, I’m writing non-fiction essays, a new serial Christmas movie, and shooting a comedy series called Drunk Therapy, in which no therapists will be too drunk. I’m a Reiki master, I do improv, yoga, martial arts, and will crush anything outdoors, except Tennis, which I play to socialize. I don’t have a dog yet, but I’d love to hang with yours. You may not see my face here, but you’ll find me reflected in the work. I’m excited to share it with you!
